Babywearing Style

I haven’t done a style post since the middle of my pregnancy. You see, I’ve been in a bit of a slump. For months I didn’t like my hair so I cut it, and then I didn’t know what to do with this shorter length. It’s also been a challenge to figure out a makeup routine that revolves around a baby. Plus, my body is a little different than it used to be. Though it probably shouldn’t have, this all sort of took me by surprise.

I had so much fun dressing my pregnant body, which you would think would be more challenging than dressing a body without a baby inside of it. However, the surge of hormones that comes after a baby is born, accompanied by a complete upheaval in daily routine really rocked the way I approached taking care of myself. And to be honest, even 7 months later I’m still just beginning to figure it out. Things are obviously different now, and what I need out of my daily outfits is different as well. I’m all about some flat shoes these days, and nothing more than a 2-3 inch heel, preferably with a boot attached. But there is one thing I’ve figured out…I usually feel best when I’m wearing my baby.
