One Burger, Two Ways

Anyone who knows me at all is well aware that cheeseburgers are my favorite food.  I LOVE THEM. And they’re one of the few foods that is usually made better at home.  I cooked all the burgers at once using soy sauce, Valentina, salt and pepper. We ate the traditional version (above) the first night, and two nights later we ate the fancy version (below).  Normally I’m a traditionalist when it comes to burgers, but when you’re using fresh bread that your mother-in-law made and you smother it in avocado/cilantro/lime sauce – there’s no competition.  I don’t have recipes to accompany these photos because I can’t for the life of me remember how I made everything.  So in this instance, we’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves. Mmmm…

    Oh my word, I just finished eating and my mouth is literally watering. Homemade Hamburgers are my favorite!
